are still going strong
after 38miles.

In total 80 cadets and 7 staff were awarded medals with 85 of those completing the full 50 miles over 2 days.  Weather conditions were favourable but that didn't detract from the sheer effort and determination put in to getting everyone around the route.

The RAF WARMA 2 Day march is used by Middlesex Wing to qualify cadets to take part in the Nijmegen International 4 Day March as part of the British Military Contingent.  The world renowned Nijmegen Marches are held in the second week of July and attract over 40,000 marchers not only as military marching teams but also individual civilian entrants.

Contingent commander, Sqn Ldr Philip Perry RAFVR(T) said, "Yet again I am very impressed with the determination and effort of all Middx Wg participants.  We were the largest team yet again for the fourth year running by a considerable distance."
